Leatherhead Golf Club, which celebrated its centenary in 2003 is a fine example of a mature Surrey Parkland Golf Course. Ancient oak trees line the fairways whilst the greens which are well guarded and subtly contoured are regarded as being amongst the best in Surrey.
Leatherhead Golf Club has hosted PGA events and is a regular venue for Surrey County fixtures. The course is peaceful, yet easily accessible, being 10 minutes from the A3 and 5 minutes from Junction 9 of the M25.

Leatherhead Golf Club has an extensive members fixture list with competitions and trophies that go back to its beginnings and at the same time welcomes visitors, societies and company golf days. Alfred Perry was the Club Professional for over 40 years before his retirement in 1972.
Alfred won The Open at Muirfield in 1935 and in the Clubhouse you can see various mementoes of Alfred's career. |
